Vancouver Airport (YVR) is an international airport in Canada, and is located just a few kilometres from the city centre of Vancouver, a popular destination for tourists, and one of the most popular cities in which to live in North America. The airport has also won numerous awards for its service, and it handles approximately 17 million passengers per annum. It is the second largest airport in Canada. Sometimes, passengers will be departing from another airport, in which case one way hire services are more convenient. From Vancouver Airport, one way hires may be driven to all parts of Canada, may require an advanced reservation and may be more expensive than an ordinary rental. Driving in Canada is done on the right-hand side of the road, and the cities, even the larger ones such as Vancouver, are quite easy to navigate, as their roads are often in a grid-pattern. The speed limits should be noted at all times, but in general, they are no more than 50kph in urban areas, 100kph on open roads and 130kph on highways. Strict rules surround drunken driving as well, and drivers should not operate a vehicle whilst talking on a cellular phone. There are many lovely areas nearby Vancouver to explore, such as Whistler, and motorists should have little trouble navigating the roads.
